Blood Pressure Monitoring with UV-101 Noninvasive Beat to Beat Finger Blood Pressure Monitor

Abstract

|
UV-101 is noninvasive beat to beat arterial pressure monitor which displays pulse rate, and systolic, mean, and diastolic pressure. We determined its linear regression, bias (mean prediction error) and precision (mean absolute error) relative to
directly measured radial artery blood pressure in 20 patients undergoing major operation under general anesthesia. Each patient data were recorded every 5 minutes for 100-150 minutes during operation.
The correlation coefficiency between UV-101 and invasive pressure were 0.57, 0.25, and 0.56(systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial pressure respectively). The UV-101 demonstrated a systolic, diastolic and mean bias (±standard deviation) of
-4.20(±10.47), 6.94(±11.03), and 2.10(±9/4)mmHg respectively. The UV-101 precision of systolic, diastolic, and mean blood pressure were 11.20±1.59, 13.99±20.65 and 10.47±7.94 mmHg respectively.
